the other day, while dodong and chedeng were generously giving us the needed water in the form of rain and floods, and since i wasn't able to come to the office because the heavy downpour, the entire day was spent sleeping, err, sleeping and some cleaning.
when i open one brown envelope, i see more papers and a red envelope, yung binibigay kapag christmas o di kaya chinese new year, it was dated Feb 1, 2001 and when i peeked inside, look what i just found:
one US dollar and 500 indonesian rupiah!
not that it will make me richer, but it was really a surprise that i have at least a P47.00 (when converted) hiding in this box full of office works. at ang linis-linis pa nung money! hehehe.
i also saw some old works of mine, some scribblings and a few poems written from boredom or just a way to stretch my imagination (i'll post some in the future).
hmm, now i am wondering what will i see next (baka japanese yen sa susunod hehehe)...
happy weekend! kanpai!

i usually place an amount in my bag for just in case incidents, or in my jean's small pockets...
will forget about it until... :)
also have stash of various currencies of countries i visited
ay anak ka ng Diyos! hehehe
maghalungkat nga rin ako ng basura sa bahay hehe...anyway 10 years ka ng nagwo-work? Gosh you're sooo old na pala wahahaha joke lang Win-Win hehe :)
buti ka pa, nakapag linis nun.. hndi rin ako nakapasok last wed. the flood went inside our garage so mejo nagpanick ako nun.. after that, i just slept and watched love stories and then ate and then slept.. hehe... you should go thru the rest of your stuff! malamang masmarami ka pang mahanap nun
jho, isa kasi akong basurero and i have this thinking na magagamit ko to later, kaya ayun, dumami ng dumami hehe.
tutubi, magandang collection nga yung currencies of other countries, pwedeng ipalit later hehe.
intsik, dinar? asa pa ako hehehe hmm, baka nga no? hehehe
verns, magti-ten years pa lang. and, i am old na pero i don't look like one hehehe.
ferdz, minsan di lang pera ang nakukuha kundi yung flashback ng memory na naka-attach sa mga basura (and i have a lot of them hehe)
Interesting find. I also had fiddle around with my old things a few months back and found out just a few that are useful at present. Most of those things, I burned them all...
And just three days ago, after those two typhoons had passed I discovered all of my outdated yet expensive books were eaten by termites...
I used to collect foreign currency bills. Saan na kaya ngayon yun?
I know i used to hide crisp notes in some books.
dodongflores, ugh @ termites! here in the office we spent quite a lot to repair the damages made by termites. sayang talaga ang mga nasisira nila!
lazarus, maybe they're hidden in some of your still to be read books hehehe.
