it's Cagbalete Island!
and it's in Mauban, Quezon.
it has Boracay's sand, the serenity of Anawangin, the food trip of La Luz, and hear this, on a backpacker's budget. san ka pa?
Salamat sa lengthy information mo about Anawangin in a previous post. Balak namin pumunta dun one of these days. Sana nga makahabol kami to see it still in its pristine state. Which is kinda sad when you think about it... kasi dapat di tayo naghahabol na baka pangit na pagdating natin, di ba? Sana other people can really see how beautiful the place is and not ruin it with kaingin and garbage!
Uy Cagbalete. I've seen some photos there and it looks great. At sa Quezon pala, daming Decena dyan, that's my father's side's province. Malapit ba yan sa Atimunan?
watson, a fried just came from anawangin at nagulat sya na parang every week dumodoble yung dami ng turista. i just hope that anawangin can cope with the sudden rush of people.
uy, be wary pala of the underwater current sa anawangin ha, kapag hapon lumalakas sya.
rudy, yes, tawid-dagat nga. actually, magandang gawin yun kelangan lang ng preparation. that's one effective way of promoting a place, thru blogging/bloggers.
Ganda talaga ng Cagbalete. It will always have a special place in my heart, now that I discovered that they are using a lot of my photos in www.cagbalete.com without my permission :D
hi! my friends and i are looking for a beach na di pa discovered - ayaw namin ng madaming tao. mukhang ang ganda dito. :) just one question - may swimming beach area pa din ba kahit low tide?
dr_clairebear, meron, kaya lang you have to walk very far from the shore. the good thing about it is that the low tide happens when the sun is at its hottest, so hindi rin advisable mag-swim.

lady cess, yup for less than P800 per head, including transpo, food and accomodation, yun nga lang, you'll do all the dirty work (like cooking)
abaniko, the list of places to see is getting longer na rin ba? hehe. i'll do that later. :)

sana lang di sya masira.
Uy...can't wait for the details..;)
Island?
BTW, why not organize a bloggers outing/eb in that place? ;-)
nice place to propose, zherwin.

allan, napansin ko nga, akala ko naman me permission sila sa pag-post nun sa internet, did you ask them about it?
hi! my friends and i are looking for a beach na di pa discovered - ayaw namin ng madaming tao. mukhang ang ganda dito. :) just one question - may swimming beach area pa din ba kahit low tide?
